North Canton, OH- On a beautiful October game day, Walsh and Lake Erie battled. The Storm led after the first quarter, 7-6. The Cavs made a statement by scoring nine points and shutting out the Storm in the second quarter. Walsh led 15-7 going into the half with hopes to continue the momentum into the next. The battle continued throughout the third quarter with Walsh maintaining the 15-7 lead. Lake Erie intercepted Walsh QB, Vatter, and ran it back for six points early in the fourth quarter. They converted the 2-point conversion to tie the game. Lake Erie attempted a 27 yard field goal at the end of regulation but it was blocked by
Marcus Shellenbarger. Thanks to the block, Larry Staudt Field had its first overtime football game. In overtime, The Storm did not take long to earn their seven points. The Maroon and Gold could not find the end zone in their overtime possession. Lake Erie would win the game 22-15 and take home the Pride and Passion trophy.

FOR THE CAVS
- Quarterback, Tom Vatter, threw for over 297 yards throughout the game.
- Tyre Gray had seven receptions for 158 yards.
- The Cavs defense blocked all of Storm's field goal attempts.
- Punter, Garrett Kasher, threw a 20-yard pass to get a Cavalier first down in the second quarter.
FOR THE STORM
- Quarterback, Gerald Gardner, threw for over 184 yards with two touchdowns.
- Jayme Vicente-Colon, on the defensive side, had eight total tackles for the game.
- Peyton Brown had five receptions for 103 yards and one touchdown.
Walsh will have a bye week next week but will be back on Larry Staudt to face Kentucky Wesleyan on October 29
th.
