MIDLAND, MI- The Maroon and Gold headed North to new conference member, Northwood University for their final game of the season. Energy was high as the Cavaliers fought hard for a rushing touchdown midway through the first quarter, to put them up 7-0. The Timberwolves had a quick answer by scoring a touchdown making the score 7-7 at the end of the first quarter. With an early start to the second, Walsh connected on a touchdown pass giving them a 14-7 lead. Northwood was quick to react, scoring a touchdown to make the score 14-14.
The Timberwolves got an early start to the third quarter by scoring on a rushing touchdown. They quickly got back on the board and took a 14-28 lead after the third quarter. Walsh's continued offensive efforts fell short in the 4th quarter as Northwood would close out the game 14-34.
