Game Recap: Men's Basketball |

SIX IN DOUBLE FIGURES AS CAVS WALLOP CELTICS

NORTH CANTON, OHIO - The Walsh University Men's basketball team hosted the Celtics from Carlow University for an afternoon match-up before Thanksgiving. Walsh looked like the Cavs of old as they knocked down 20 of 41 three-point attempts in a blowout win over Carlow, 115 to 44. Although the final score didn't reflect it, the first five minutes of game-time saw the Cavs only lead by two before a media timeout allowed head coach, Jeff Young to gather his players for a quick chat about defense. His message must've been received well, as the Cavs held Carlow to only 33 more points in the next 35 minutes. It was more than just strong defense though; Walsh shot 52.4% from the field and took care of the ball well as they ended the game with 26 assists on only 9 turnovers.
