WALSH SUFFERS SECOND STRAIGHT CONFERENCE LOSS

NORTH CANTON, OH - Walsh's shooting woes from beyond the arc continued today as they fell to conference rival, Malone, in a game mainly controlled by the Pioneers. Ten first-half threes for Malone helped them get out to a 13-point lead, but Walsh fought hard to cut the lead to just five going into the half. The Cavs tried to turn the game around, tying it up at 49 a piece before Malone scored 15 unanswered, putting the nail in the coffin for Walsh.
