NORTH CANTON, OH- The road to victory over cross town rival, Malone, wasn't an easy one, but in a complete team effort, the Cavaliers downed the Pioneers. Malone got off to a quick start. The Pioneers shot 57% from the floor in the first half, compared to the Cavs 29%. Heading to the break, Malone had a 38-33 lead. Thanks to back to back 22 point quarters, the Cavaliers stormed back resulting in another conference win. The Cavalier bench contributed 23 points in the victory

FOR THE CAVS
- Four Cavaliers were in double figures. Lexie Scarton led the way with 19. She also added eight assists.
- One rebound shy of a double double, Kiley Dyrlund had 13 points and nine rebounds.
- Jamie Schmeltz and Faith Williams contributed great minutes off the bench adding five points a piece.
FOR THE PIONEERS
- Emma Kallas had a double double with 16 points and 11 rebounds.
- Alexis Hutchison also had a double double with 20 points and 10 assists.
The Cavaliers return to action on Wednesday, December 14th, vs Lake Erie.
