Box Score NORTH CANTON, Ohio - The Walsh Cavaliers men's basketball team fell to the Hillsdale Chargers 79-56 on Saturday (Feb. 12) afternoon at Alumni Arena. The first seven minutes of the game saw six lead changes between the teams but Hillsdale was too much for the Cavaliers in the contest.

FOR THE CAVALIERS
- Caleb Canter followed up Thursday's effort with 16 points on eight-of-14 shooting with five rebounds.
- Tim Smith Jr. made two of Walsh's three treys and added two other baskets in a ten-point effort.
- Brent Walker scored eight points and grabbed six rebounds off the bench in 20 minutes.
- Walsh took care of the ball with only three turnovers.
- The Cavaliers shot 34.8% from the floor in the game, making 24-of-69 shots overall. The team made only three-of-23 three pointers and tallied an 71.4% free throw percentage with five-of-seven makes.
FOR THE CHARGERS
- Patrick Cartier, the conference's leading scorer, tallied a game-high 19 points as five players scored in double-figures.
- Austen Yarian had 16 points and nine rebounds while Kyle Goessler (12), Joe Reuter (11) and Jack Gohlke (10) all scored ten or more points.
- Hillsdale shot 59.6% overall (31-52), 43.5% (10-23) from three and seven-of-12 at the charity stripe.
Walsh will begin a three-game week and a four-game road swing on Tuesday (Feb. 15) night at Findlay, beginning at 6:00 PM.
