NORTH CANTON, OH- The Cavaliers of Walsh Women's Soccer kicked off the season in winning fashion, defeating the visiting Bobcats of West Virginia Wesleyan, with a score of 2-0. With practically back to back goals in the first half, the ladies never looked back on their way to victory.

FOR THE CAVS:
- Taylor Tomlinson connected with the back of the net in the twenty-first minute, tallying the first goal for the season for the Cavs.
- Soon after, Katie Corrigan scored on a penalty kick.
- Both Cav goal keepers, Lilly Lakuszewski and Romina Parraguez had solid performances, having two saves and no goals allowed each.
FOR THE BOBCATS:
- Goal Keeper, Ally Moore, had four saves on the day.
The Women return to action on Friday, September 2nd at Saginaw Valley.
