NORTH CANTON, OH- The Walsh University men's soccer team welcomed the Eagles from Ashland University to Larry Staudt Field on Thursday(Sept. 9). The Cavs and Eagles took to the pitch for an aggressive battle in the conference home opener. After a scoreless first half, the men of the Maroon and Gold were able to connect to the back of the net twice and hold off the Eagles to lock in win number four.

Jose Rabadan Villanueva was the first player to connect to the back of the net during the fifty-first minute of the game.

Austin Stassinis wasted no time and fired one into the goal with an assist from
Nathan Kolke.
-An unprecedented amount of cards were given in the remaining minutes of the game, on both sides.

Charlie Walker blocked all attempts on the goal from the Eagles.
The Cavs head to Cedarville on Saturday(Sept. 10) to take on the Yellow Jackets.
