MEN'S SOCCER KEEPS IT ROLLING WITH WIN OVER PANTHERS

NORTH CANTON, OH- The Walsh University Men's soccer team notched another win on Thursday night at Larry Staudt Field. The Cavs kept the Panthers from Kentucky Wesleyan scoreless as they defeated them 4-0. With a packed stadium, on the eve of Homecoming weekend, the maroon and gold put on an impressive offensive performance with four separate Cavs scoring.

FOR THE CAVALIERS: 
  • The Cavs threw up the first points of the game after a quick goal in the 8th minute by Gabe Altawail.
  • Jose Rabadan Villanueva added the second goal on the board for the maroon and gold 20 minutes into the first half.
  • After being fouled, Dominic O'Connor connected to the back of the net for goal number three for Walsh.
  • With minutes left on the clock, Jesus Gonzalez was the final Cavalier to post a score on the board.
  • Charlie Walker continued to be a dominating presence at goalie for the Cavs, after he kept the all three shot attempts from the Panthers out of the net.
The Cavs face the Oilers from Findlay at home on Saturday, September 17th at 7:30pm.
