ROAD MATCH VS TIFFIN RESULTS IN A TIE FOR THE CAVS

TIFFIN, OH - The fall air officially arrived in Northwest Ohio, but the heat was still on the pitch for the conference match up between the visiting Cavs and host Dragons. In an exciting scoring frenzy, the game resulted in a tie 3-3. 

LOCATION: PARADISO FIELDS

SCORE: TIFFIN 3 - WALSH 3

RECORDS: TIFFIN 3-3-2, WALSH 3-4-1

FOR THE CAVS 
  • Starting of the scoring for the Cavs was Katie Corrigan. She scored to tie the game 1-1 in the 16th minute on a penalty kick.
  • 45 seconds later, the Cavs took the lead thanks to Taylor Tomlinson. Faith Estes added an assist. 
  • The maroon and gold struck again the 61st minute with a goal from Hannah Stein. Estes again added an assist. 

FOR THE DRAGONS 
  • Tiffin started quickly, scoring the first goal of the game in the 3rd minute. Sarah Gundler connected with the net. Amanda Feury made the assist. 
  • Kristen Dickison added the other two goals for the home team late in the second half. One was on a penalty kick. 
The Cavs return to East Maple Street on Saturday, September 24th at 1pm vs Ursuline.
