NORTH CANTON, OH - The Walsh University Volleyball teamed added wins over Ursuline and Lake Erie College over the weekend. On Friday, September 23rd, the Cavaliers hosted the Arrows of Ursuline, followed by a quick road trip to Lake Erie on Saturday, September 24th. Walsh came out on top on both occasions, winning each match with a score of 3-1.

WALSH v. URSULINE:

LOCATION: North Canton, Ohio
SCORE: Walsh 3, Ursuline 1 (22-25, 25-22, 25-9, 25-17)

FOR THE CAVALIERS:

• The balanced attack of Grace Lindquist (9 kills), Olivia Maczuzak and Sydney Dixon (8 kills a piece) led the Cavaliers' offense.
• Sophomore, Anna West recorded four blocks at the net, while Lindquist and Freshman, Ravin Morgan each added three blocks.
• The duo of Arora Levengood and Olivia Kearns assisted on 14 and 12 points, respectively on the day.

WALSH v. LAKE ERIE: 

LOCATION: Painesville, Ohio
SCORE: Walsh 3, Lake Erie 1 (20-25, 25-22, 28-26, 25-12)

FOR THE CAVALIERS:

• Maczuzak and Morgan each had dominate performances on the offensive end of play, with 16 and 14 kills respectively. Morgan connected on over 60 percent of her attempts and committed zero errors throughout the match.
• Kearns assisted on 29 plays and also added 16 digs on the day. 
• Maczuzak recorded four solo blocks, while Lindquist had three solo blocks at the net. 

Walsh will travel to Ashland, Ohio to face the Eagles for a Tuesday evening match starting at 7pm.
