COLUMBUS, OH- On December 1st, the Cavs beat the Panthers of Ohio Dominican 65-41. On January 21, the contest was a bit closer, but once again, the Maroon and Gold found themselves with the win. The Cavs won both halves, proving to be the advantage when the final buzzer sounded. Garrison Keeslar played all forty minutes, finishing with a double double. Tim Smith Jr. played in all but three minutes, also finishing with a double double. The Cavaliers are currently tied with Ashland for second place in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.

FOR THE CAVS 

• Garrison Keeslar and Tim Smith Jr. both had 17 points and 10 rebounds.

• The Cavs shot 80% from the charity stripe and out rebounded ODU by 11. 

FOR THE PANTHERS

• Zach Szul led all scorers with 20 points.
• Jarius Jones added 18 points and eight rebounds.
