CAVS WIN A CLOSE GAME IN COLUMBUS

COLUMBUS, OH- The Cavaliers were looking for back to back conference wins coming into the Ohio Dominican contest. They left the state capitol, doing just that, being victorious with a three point win over the host Panthers. Abby Hickey hit a key three pointer with 23 seconds left and Morgan McMillen made the back end of two free throws to secure the win for the Cavs. The win puts Walsh over .500 in the conference. They are currently in sixth place.

FOR THE CAVS
  • Morgan McMillen paced the Cavs once again with 19 points.
  • Abby Hickey was on fire from three, making five. She finished with 17 points and five rebounds. 
  • Lexie Scarton grabbed seven rebounds and had five assists. 
FOR THE PANTHERS
  • Gabby Stare led all scorers with 21 points. 
  • Macy Chapman added 14 points along with seven rebounds. 
The Cavs continue conference play on Thursday at home vs Kentucky Wesleyan
