OWENSBORO, KY- To start 2023, the Cavs traveled to Kentucky Wesleyan to take on the Panthers who were 4-1 in the G-MAC. The Panthers started hot shooting over 50% in the first 20 minutes. The Cavs found themselves down at the break. In the third quarter, the Cavs outscored the Panthers 11-5. Down only five heading to the fourth, Kentucky Wesleyan found a way to keep their lead, defeating the Cavs by seven.
