HAMMOND, IN: The Cavalier Volleyball team hit the road this weekend as they played in the D2 Midwest Crossover in Hammond, Indiana. The crossover featured teams from the G-MAC, GLIAC, and GLVC. On the trip, the Cavs went 1-2, losing their first two games of the season after starting 18-0. Starting the weekend off strong, the Maroon and Gold took down Purdue University Northwest in four sets. The Women then faced Rockhurst University who was ranked 25th and Lewis University who was ranked 15th, falling to both teams in four sets. The Cavs still remain undefeated in the conference and are currently ranked 24th in the nation. Walsh was led with strong weekend performances by

Up next, the Cavs will travel south for another weekend of conference play when they will take on Thomas Moore University at 6pm on Friday and Cedarville University at 1pm on Saturday.
