ROMEOVILLE, IL: After a weekend off, the Walsh Cross Country teams came out strong against a very competitive field at the DII Crossover Meet, hosted by Lewis University. This meet was a huge test for both teams as they looked to improve their previous regional and national rankings! Coming in to this event, the Men were ranked 18th nationally, 4th regionally and the Women were ranked 26th nationally and 6th regionally. Today, the Men finished 5th, beating teams who are ranked higher than them and the Women finished 12th.

The Cavs will now look ahead and prepare for the G-MAC Championships which will be hosted by Malone on October 21st.
