HILLSDALE, MI: The Cavalier Men's Cross Country Team raced in the G-MAC Championship this past weekend! On a beautiful Fall day, the conditions couldn't have been better for the Conference Championship. The race proved to be what the crowd expected with three teams in the running for the championship. Ultimately, Hillsdale would top the field scoring 50 points to secure the G-MAC crown. The Cavaliers finished 3rd scoring 68 points. Leading the scoring for the Maroon and Gold was
Mitchel Dunham, finishing 3rd individually, with a time of 24:54.2. Following right behind was
Xavier Foehl and
Theo Papas with 9th and 11th place finishes.
With this being the Championship race, All-Conference awards were handed out and included many Cavs. Earning All-Conference First Team was
Mitchel Dunham and
Xavier Foehl. All-Conference Second Team was
Alex Keller and
Theo Papas. Earning the Elite 26 Award, for academic excellence, was
Lukas Keverkamp!
Walsh will continue to train for the Midwest Regional Race on 11/9!
