NORTH CANTON, OH: The Maroon and Gold battled The Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers on Saturday in Alumni Arena. The opening quarter was tightly contested as the Panthers jumped out to a narrow lead. Going into the break, Walsh was shooting only 2-10 from beyond the arc but they were only down 28-21.

The Panther would go on a huge 25-10 run in the third quarter though, led by Jordyn Barga who finished with a game high 19 points. In the end the Cavs would go down and fall to 2-4 on the year.
The Cavaliers will look to rebound next week as they take on West Liberty on Tuesday. The game will be back at home in Alumni Arena at 5:30PM.
