NORTH CANTON,OH: The Men's Basketball Team avenged an early season loss Thursday night, beating the visiting Yellow Jackets from Cedarville, 64-60. Down early, the Cavaliers trailed by as much as seven points in the second half but battled hard to secure another conference victory. Garrison Keeslar, and free throws from
Tim Smith Jr. and
Colin McHale helped seal the win. The Cavs are currently ranked #8 in the region as they head to Lake Erie College for their last regular season contest this Saturday. The Maroon and Gold previously beat Lake Erie 70-51 in December. With an Ashland loss, the Cavs are currently tied for first place in the G-MAC.
