CAVS DROP SERIES AT SETON HILL

GREENSBURG, PA: The Cavaliers continued their 2023 campaign this past weekend, taking on Seton Hill University. The schedule for this weekend was altered to a double header on Thursday and one game on Sunday. The Cavs lost all three contests this weekend and were outscored by the Griffins 18-3. Looking ahead, the Cavs will be traveling to Arizona to take on Concordia University, Malone, Bemidji State University, and Southwest Minnesota State University 3/5-3/10.

FOR THE CAVS GAME 1
  • Alex Beyerle started on the mound. He went 3 innings, giving up two runs and seven hits. 
  • Nick Lallathin also threw 3 innings in relief for the Cavs, allowing two runs on five hits. 
FOR THE CAVS GAME 2
  • Asher Soltis threw 4.1 innings. He had three strikeouts and gave up six hits. Cole Brogan pitched 1.2 innings, giving up no runs and allowing no hits. 
  • Davis Burick hit a game-tying home run in the fifth inning, after Brodey Acres doubled.
 
FOR THE CAVS GAME 3 
  • Brody Ware went 5 innings, with seven strikeouts, giving up five hits and two runs.
  • Brodey Acres had a great day at the plate, collecting three hits and driving in the Cavs only run of the game in the seventh inning.
