NORTH CANTON, OHIO- The Walsh University Men's Basketball team defeated the Panthers from Kentucky Wesleyan in the Quarterfinal round of the G-MAC tournament. Down at the break the Cavs trailed by six but a strong offensive push in the second half helped to provide the momentum needed to lock in the win.

FOR THE CAVALIERS:Â
- Garrison Keeslar led the Cavaliers with 26 total points.
- Keeslar shot 50% from the field and was 4 for 7 from the three point line. Keeslar also had 7Â rebounds and 6 assists.
- Three other Cavaliers each contributed 14 points; Quentin Toles, Nic Smith and Owen Hazelbaker.
- Zack Oddo had 8 key rebounds for the Cavaliers, leading the team.
- The Cavaliers had 13 offensive rebounds compared to the Panthers 8.
- In the second half, the Cavaliers shot 54% from behind the arc.Â
The Maroon and Gold will host cross-town rival Malone on Friday night at 5:30pm in the G-MAC semifinals followed by the second semifinal game at 7:30pm.
