NORTH CANTON: On the day that the 2021/2022 G-MAC Champions were honored with their rings, the Cavaliers dominated Findlay to move into a tie for first place in the conference. Findlay was also the team that the Cavs beat to win the conference tournament 11 months ago. Up 15 at the break, the home team never looked back in route to a 26 point victory. The Cavaliers will fight for sole possession of first place at Hillsdale on 2/9.

FOR THE CAVS

• Tim Smith Jr. led all scorers with 19 points. He also added seven rebounds. Smith Jr. was 7-7 from the foul line. He also grabbed seven rebounds. 
• Quentin Toles and Garrison Keeslar also helped pace the Cavs with 15 and 14 points, respectively. Keeslar also had four steals. 
• The Maroon and Gold shot 100% from the foul line, going 18-18. 

FOR THE OILERS

• Joey Edmonds led the Oilers with 17 points and five rebounds. 
• Josh Thorbahn was right behind with 16.
