NORTH CANTON, OH - Vice President of Athletics/Athletic Director, Nathan Cochran, has announced the hire of Alexis Green as Walsh's next Athletic Communications Coordinator on Friday (March 10th). 

Green's role with the Cavaliers will see her handle statistical data and website management for the University's 25 varsity sports, including maintaining records and biographies. She will also manage the social media platforms and broadcasting of home athletic events and will assist in game day operations. 

"Walsh University has given me so many great opportunities as a student-athlete and graduate assistant, so I am honored to be named Athletic Communications Coordinator," added Green. "I am looking forward to working with our awesome staff, coaches and student-athletes to promote and expand Walsh athletics!" 

Green previously served as the Sports Information Graduate Assistant while pursuing her MBA with a focus in Data Analytics. 

She was a member of the Walsh women's golf team from 2018-2022, where she was named a three-year captain and earned Academic All-American status all four years. Green was also a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, where she served as Treasurer. 

She completed her undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration Accounting and Sports Management.
