NORTH CANTON,OH: On Tuesday, March 21st, the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association released a mid year update on the standings for the Damon Martin Men's Program of the Year Award. In the current release, the Walsh Men's Cross Country and Track/Field Program is ranked eighth in the country. This is the highest the Cavaliers have been ranked in the NCAA Division Two era. Grand Valley State University, located in Allendale, MI, is currently in first place with outdoor season remaining. 

This award honors the school that accomplished the most success in the current academic year. Rankings are calculated throughout the cross country, indoor track and field, and outdoor track and field seasons and is based on how the team performs at the NCAA Division Two National Championships. With the outdoor season upon us, the Men's Track and Field team will look to continue to climb in the rankings for this prestigious award.
