OWENSBORO, KY: The Cavalier Women's Tennis team competed at the Owensboro Davies County Tennis Association in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championships. The Maroon and Gold were the #5 seed coming in and played the #4 seed, Northwood. The Timberwolves defeated the Cavs in the first two matches of doubles play and swept one, two, and three singles to move on to the Semifinals. The semifinal match ups are Tiffin and Northwood and Findlay and Hillsdale.  The Cavs finish their season 4-4 in the conference and 12-10 on the season. 
Four Cavaliers earned All-Conference awards. Risako Umekuni and Alexa Gamborino were both named First Team All-Conference. Shantala Uzcategui was named Second Team All-Conference. Chiara Wolff was the Women's Tennis Elite 26 award winner!
