NORTH CANTON, OH: The Women of Walsh Tennis were quite busy over the past few days having matches vs three conference opponents. The Cavs faced The University of Findlay, Tiffin University, and Ursuline College. With the cold and stormy weather, the matches vs Findlay and Tiffin were moved inside but the Ursuline match was able to be played outside, thanks to a warm and sunny spring day. The Cavs fell in a tough battle to, #25 ranked, Findlay, fell to conference leader, Tiffin, and came back to dominate Ursuline, with a score of 7-0. The ladies return to the courts on 4/11 at the University of Northwestern Ohio.

VS FINDLAY

• Securing the lone win in doubles was Carla Padberg and Rachel Kibler. They won with a score of 6-3. 
• Dominating #1 singles was Risako Umekuni. She won her match 6-2, 6-0. 
• Yasmina Mayer (6-4, 6-3) and Chiara Wolff (6-3, 6-2) were also victorious for the Maroon and Gold during singles. 

VS TIFFIN

• The Cavs were swept in doubles play. 
• Playing #2 singles, Alexa Gamborino won her match with scores of 0-6, 7-5 and 14-12. 

VS URSULINE

• Walsh dominated, sweeping the match, as Ursuline did not take any sets.
