GREENSBURG, PA: The Men's Lacrosse team fell in the Great Midwest Championships semifinal game vs the Seton Hill Griffins. The Cavs had a tall task ahead of them as Seton Hill was the #1 seed in the tournament. Just a week ago, the two teams battled it out on Larry Staudt Field, the home team, Walsh, falling 13-5. The Griffins were locked in today as consisting scoring efforts and scrappy defense got the best of the Maroon and Gold. The Cavaliers finished their season with a record of 6-10 and 4-3 in conference play.
Earlier Wednesday, the Great Midwest Athletic Conference announced their All-Conference teams. The Maroon and Gold had three student-athletes honored. Sophomore Goalie,
Alex Movshin and Junior Defender,
Mike Sawulak were named All-Conference Third Team. Charles Williams won the Elite 26 Award for the second straight season.
