CANTON, OHIO- The Walsh University Men's Golf team opened their 2023-24 season at the Malone Invite on Monday and Tuesday (September 11-12). The Cavaliers finished in 12th place overall after posting rounds of 305-311-304. The Cavs completed 54-holes over the 2 days of competition.

FOR THE CAVS:

• Coming off a successful season last year, Kyle Buzaki didn't skip a beat in the opening event.
• The 5th year led the way for the Cavaliers at the opening event after posting rounds of 76-71-72 to finish with a 54-hole total of 219.
• Brandon Jatich was next in line for the Cavaliers with an overall 54-hole total of 227.
• Jatich finished tied for 27th place with his rounds of 78-78-71.
• Cory Gasaway was next up for the Cavs with rounds of 77-78-82.
• Max Crookston (75-84-81), Carter Wells (77-86-80), Jared Lieberman (87-86-77) and Will Ashy (86-84-80) all competed for the Cavs respectively.
