Box Score NORTH CANTON, OH: The Cavs jumped out to an early lead against Thomas More during Homecoming weekend but could not keep it going for four quarters. The first possession of the game for Walsh was a long drive that ended in a field goal to give them a 3-0 lead. A short time later, Kyle Bischof blocked a punt from Thomas More punter Elgin Phillips and it was recovered in the end zone by Rocco Iacino. The Cavaliers had all of the momentum at this point, up 10-0. Later in the quarter, Thomas More would get their first touchdown after a Jaden Hall 5-yard rush into the end zone. The Saints would finish the half by adding three more touchdowns to go into the break with a 26-10 lead. 

In the second half, the defenses stiffened while the offenses struggled. There were a total of 9 punts from both teams combined with neither team scoring a single point. 

The next game for the Cavaliers will be on September 20th at 6 PM. They will go on the road to take on the Lake Erie Storm in Painesville, Ohio.

FOR THE CAVS 

• Once again, Cam Hollobaugh, led the Maroon and Gold in tackles with a total of 9 for the afternoon. 
• Dalys Jett, Cameron Macon and Dom Jennings led the rushing attack for the Cavs with a total of 126 yards combined.
• Rocco Iacino scored the only touchdown on the day for Walsh after recovering a blocked punt in the first quarter.
