ASHLAND,OH: It was the battle of the unbeaten on Wednesday afternoon on Ashland Universities campus. The Cavaliers traveled to face the #1 ranked team in the country. The Walsh Women competed very hard as they nearly got to halftime tied but the Eagles spoiled those thoughts. With less than 10 minutes remaining in the first half, Ashland connected on three straight goals. In the end, the Cavs would fall 4-0, two goals being penalty kicks. 

The next game will be at Kentucky Wesleyan on Saturday at 3:30pm.

• Walsh was outshot 19-6 and only had one corner kick.
