BEAVERCREEK, OHIO- The Walsh University Men's Golf team secured their first victory of the season at Cedarville University for the Cedarville Invitational. The Cavs played a solid 36-holes of golf at Beavercreek Golf Club posting rounds of 289-285. The Cavs battled the Yellowjackets in the last few holes of competition to take home the win by one shot.

FOR THE CAVS:

• Kyle Buzaki locked in his first win of the season in Cedarville after firing a career low 11 under par over two days of competition.
• Buzaki posted rounds of 68 and 65 for a total of 133 overall. 
• Cory Gasaway was second for the Cavs finishing tied for 7th place overall. Gasaway carded rounds 75 and a career collegiate low of 69 in his final round.
• Brandon Jatich finished tied for 11th place with rounds of 72-75.
• Max Crookston posted rounds of 74 and 76 to finish tied for 15th.
• Jared Lieberman competed for the Cavs as an individual and tallied rounds of 72 and 79. 
• Blake Hood rounded out the top 5 for the Cavs with rounds of 85 and 78.
