NORTH CANTON, OH: The Cavs faced off against the visiting Findlay Oilers on a cold and windy evening at Larry Staudt Field. Findlay started off on the front foot, scoring in the 25th minute to put the Oilers up 1-0 over the Cavs. The Maroon and Gold were able to bounce back, however, with
Josh Sarver netting his first two goals of the season in the 36th and 44th minutes, respectively. Two other Cavaliers also grabbed their first statistics this season with
Austin Stassinis and
Callum Lee each grabbing their first assist of the season. However, Findlay was able to capitalize on another one of their 20 shots on the night, scoring again in the 59th minute, equalizing the game at 2-2 where it would stay for the rest of the match. Goalkeeper,
Nick Bertolini, came up big on several occasions for the Cavs, producing 9 saves on the night and helping them secure another point in their hunt for a G-MAC playoff spot.
The Cavs travel to Lake Erie on Saturday, October 26th, where they face off against the Storm at 7 P.M.
