NEW ORLEANS, LA: The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association released the All-Academic Athletes and Team awards. Following a fall season that saw a Men's conference championship and a Women's national qualifying team, the Men and Women of Walsh Cross Country also excelled in the classroom. 11 total Cavs, 6 women and 5 men, earned individual accolades while the both team earned the team academic award. 

For the individual awards, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-30 percent of their respective regional championship meet, among other qualifiers to earn All-Academic distinction. 

Individual All-Academic: 
David D'Altorio, Noah Graham, Spiro Papas, Theo Papas, and Kyle Woods 
Camryn Barker, Bella Graham, Bailey Menegay, Claire Rethman, Casey Russell, and Alyssa Stoner

To earn team honors, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period and compile a team score at their respective regional championship meet, among other qualifiers. The Walsh Men's team had an overall GPA of 3.64. The Women had a 3.73.
