Box Score COLUMBUS, OH: It was a heartbreaking night for the Cavaliers as they traveled to Columbus, Ohio to face off against the Ohio Dominican University Panthers. It was a very even game across the board with each team tallying 16 shots a piece, with Walsh slightly outpacing ODU with 7 shots on goal to the Panthers 6. It was the Cavs who capitalized first on one of these chances with Gabe Anderson opening the scoring inside 3 minutes of play. The Panthers crawled their way back in the first half, however, scoring in the 25th and 32nd minutes to take a 2-1 lead over the Cavs at half-time. The Cavs came out strong in the second half, scoring in the 61st and 69th minutes of play, taking a 3-2 lead over the Panthers through goals from Gabriel Altawil and Callum Lee. Although the Cavs had a lead, ODU had another idea, though, scoring two late goals in the 78th and 87th minutes, which was enough for a 4-3 win over Walsh. The Maroon and Gold will be hoping to turn things around when they travel to Midland, Michigan on Saturday, November 2nd at 3 P.M. where they will face the Northwood Timberwolves.
