Box Score 2 WEST LIBERTY AND SALEM, WV: Cavalier Women's Basketball traveled West Virginia this weekend, looking to grab two more victories this season. Against West Liberty, It was a tight battle from the start between the two teams with West Liberty going on the front foot to lead at the first quarter 20-15. The Cavs stayed in the game though, bringing themselves within a two-point deficit to go into half. While the third quarter was more of the same, the Cavs flipped the switch in the fourth quarter. They outscored West Liberty 24-14 on 53.33% shooting from the field, a huge improvement from their 34.21% they tallied in the first half. The Cavs late push was led by Izzy Callaway off the bench with her 24 points, shooting 64.7% from the field. Emma Dretke also was a force on the court, grabbing a game high 14 rebounds to go along with her 14 points.
