WESLEY CHAPEL, FL - The Walsh University Men's Golf team hosted their first tournament of the spring in Florida at Saddlebrook Resort. The 54-hole event proved to be challenging, with tough windy conditions on the final day. Despite the conditions, the Cavs played solidly and finished in 5^th place for the tournament.

FOR THE CAVS:

• Kyle Buzaki led the way for Walsh with rounds of 72-70-79. He entered the final round with a share of the lead but would go on to finish 7^th overall for the tournament.
• Max Crookston was next for the Cavs (74-77-73) His final round 73 in the tough conditions helped move him into a tie for 10^th place individually.
• Blake Hood was steady with rounds of 77-75-77 to finish in 17^th place.
• Cory Gasaway (82-77-80) and Jared Lieberman (79-75-85) both finished in a tie for 28^th.
• Will Ashy carded rounds of 78-87-81 to round out the Cavalier lineup.
• Ethan Gillis (85-86-85) played as an individual for Walsh.
