ROMEOVILLE, IL: The Cavs traveled back out west, after nearly a week off, to face the Lewis Men's Lacrosse team. In an even battle through the first thirty minutes, the Flyers got hot and Walsh got cold. Lewis went on a 7-0 run before the Cavs could respond. The home team scored nine second half goals to secure their commanding win. The Maroon and Gold were out shot 31-14 in the second half. Lewis also was more efficient on the defensive end of the field outpacing the Cavs, 26-19, in ground balls.
Walsh will hit the road once again on Tuesday as they face Frostburg University at 3pm.
