RICHMOND, KY: The Walsh Men's Golf team played at Boone's Trace Golf Club on Monday and Tuesday in a 54 hole tournament hosted by the University of Findlay. With picture perfect weather on day one, the Cavaliers opened up round one, shooting 293. The 2nd round, also played on Monday, the Cavs shot 314. On day 2, the Men faced constant rain and 40mph winds. They shot 297 and finished 15th out of 18 teams.
Highlighting the tournament was 5th year,
Kyle Buzaki, who shot an impressive -7 under par to earn medalist honors. In a loaded field with top players in the region, Kyle shot rounds of 68, 74, and 67. His dominant play included 14 birdies and a 20 foot par putt on the 54th hole to secure the win.
Next up, the Men will play in the Blazer Memorial, hosted by Ohio Dominican University, on April 5th and 6th. The tournament will be held at Urbana Country Club.
