ROCHESTER, NY: The Cavs took a road trip last Saturday, as they traveled to Roberts Wesleyan University to face the Redhawks in an afternoon matchup. Walsh came out firing on all cylinders as they scored seven first quarter goals. Roberts Wesleyan also had a hot start, responding back with five first quarter goals. The next quarter would be a different story for the visiting Cavaliers as they would be outscored, 5-0, heading into halftime down three. The Redhawks continued their domination into the second half with a four goal third quarter. Walsh connected four times in the last two quarters but it wasn't quite enough as the Maroon and Gold lost, 15-11.
The Women will open up G-MAC play this Friday as they host Ursuline College at 1pm on Larry Staudt Field.
