URBANA AND CANTON, OH: The Walsh Men's Golf program had a busy weekend as they competed in 2 back to back tournaments. The first tournament was the ODU Bill Blazer Memorial, held at Urbana Country Club. The second tournament was the Cavalier Classic, at Glenmoor Country Club. The men saw all types of conditions over the four days of competition including sleet and wind in 40 degrees and full sun and 70 degrees.
At Urbana, the men finished 5th out of 7 teams posting scores of 307 and 306.
Kyle Buzaki finished 3rd individually with scores of 73 and 71.
At Glenmoor, the Men won the event, firing a team two day total of +4. Their scores of 293 and 287 earned them the victory by 7 strokes.
Kyle Buzaki continued his dominant play by earning medalist honors for the second time in three events this spring. His rounds of 67 and 70 secured the win by five strokes. 3 other Cavs finished in the top 10 with
Max Crookston (72/74),
Blake Hood (80/68), and
Nitikit Techokijsawaroj (77/73).
The team will next compete at the Great Midwest Championships in Owensboro, KY. The tournament will be held at the Pearl Club on April 22nd-April 24th.

- Walsh finished 1st out of 7 teams.

- Blake Hood finished tied for 8th thanks to a career low, 68, on day 2.
- Nitikit Techokijsawaroj shot rounds of 77 and 73 to finish tied for 10th.
