NORTH CANTON, OH: It was Senior Day on Larry Staudt Field yesterday! It was also a meaningful conference game day as Walsh Men's Lacrosse is looking to secure a spot in the G-MAC Tournament. After one quarter, the Maroon and Gold got going, torching the Senators, 7-0, in the second quarter alone. That period broke the game open and the Cav defense contained Davis and Elkins to just 2 more goals in the game. 8 different Cavs found the net with
Hudson Dennill scoring five himself. The defense was stifling for Walsh as they scooped up 34 total ground balls and caused 24 Senator turnovers.
With the win, the Maroon and Gold move to 3-3 in the conference and sit in sixth place. The Men will wrap up their season on the road on April 20th at Thomas More and then at Seton Hill on April 23rd.
