NORTH CANTON, OH: The Cavaliers played back-to-back doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday against Cedarville and Thomas More. They went on to split each of the series, losing the first game in each and winning the second. Game one against Cedarville took 11 innings total but the Yellow Jackets would prevail after a 3-run home run gave them the lead. Game two would go to the Cavs with the help of some stellar pitching from
Olivia Betson who picked up her second win of the year.

In game one against Thomas More, the Cavs held the lad for most of the game until the Saints score three runs in the final two innings to win by 1. The final game of the weekend was tightly contested. Walsh took a 3-1 lead in the 5
th after a homer by
Sarah Moats and then Thomas More answered with a solo homer in the top of the 7
th. The Cavs would hang on though and get the victory by a final of 3-2.

Walsh will travel to Ursuline to take on the Arrows in a Tuesday doubleheader. The first game will start at 3PM.
