CANTON,OH: The Women's Lacrosse program took care of business in the first ever Walsh/Malone Women's Lacrosse match up this afternoon. Although the game was on rival territory, the Cavs lit the Pioneers up like they were on Larry Staudt Field, in the commanding 18-0 win. Today's win also secured the Maroon and Gold a perfect G-MAC record, moving to 7-0! With the perfect record, Walsh earned a G-MAC Regular Season Championship, for the 4th year in a row! Both sides of the field were dominant today as 9 different Women scored and the defense only allowed 9 shots against. 

With the regular season wrapped up, Walsh will once again host the Great Midwest Women's Lacrosse Championships. The semifinal will be held on May 2nd with the championship game on May 4th. Official seeding and game times are still TBD.

• Mallory Miller led the Walsh defensive efforts with 5 draw controls, 4 ground balls, and 3 caused turnovers. She also added 1 goal. 
• Grace Santee dominated defensively as well with 4 ground balls and 4 caused turnovers.
