NORTH CANTON, OH: The Division 2 Athletics Directors Association announced the recipients of the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award last week. This award recognizes academic accomplishments of Student-Athletes at the D2 level. 

The Walsh Cavaliers finished 5th in the Nation with the amount of Student-Athletes meeting the criteria to be on this list. The 224 Walsh Student-Athletes who made the list had to have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher, be an active member of an intercollegiate team, and have completed a minimum of two years of college level work. 

The Great Midwest Athletic Conference had a total of 1,075 Student-Athletes recognized. Walsh finished 2nd to Tiffin University with the most amount of Athletes honored with 228.
