NORTH CANTON, OH: The crowd at Larry Staudt Field saw an intense G-MAC match up on a soggy Saturday afternoon. It was a tale of two halves as the Oilers commanded the first 45 minutes with a 1-0 lead. Kailey Hobart and Maddie Schweiger had looks at the net but couldn't convert. 

The Walsh offense came to life after the half, thanks to sparks off the bench with Corinne Casenhiser and Paityn Marino, each connecting with the back of the net. Maddie Schweiger scored the 3rd goal for the Cavs. This exciting performance earned the Cavs their first win over the Oilers since 2019! 

The Maroon and Gold return to Larry Staudt Field on Thursday, at 5pm, vs Lake Erie College!
