ASHLAND, OH: The Cavs traveled to Ashland, Ohio to take on the Ashland University Eagles in a match full of excitement. Evan Napier opened up scoring for the Cavs in the 15th minute on an assist from Gabe Anderson. Napier added his second goal of the match just one minute later in the 16th minute on an assist from Jax Pena to give the Cavs a comfortable 2-0 lead. However, the Eagles brought themselves back into the match right before half-time with goals in the 33rd and 44th minutes of play to bring the score to two all. After the break, Evan Napier added his third goal of the night for a hat trick in the 51st minute on an assist from Bobby Moore. The Eagles, once again, did not give up. They equalized in the 82nd minute of the match to force the Cavs to settle for a point. The Eagles out shot the Cavs 23 to 11 with 12 on target to 5.
The Cavs are back in action Saturday, October 25th at 12 P.M. when they travel to Columbus, Ohio to take on the Ohio Dominican University Panthers.
