ASHLAND, OH: Women's Soccer traveled to Ashland, Ohio to take on the 15th nationally ranked Ashland University Eagles on Thursday afternoon. It was not the Cavs night as they were out shot 22 to 6 and 15 to 5 for shots on goal. Ashland also had 11 corners to the Cavs 3. The Eagles opened up scoring in the 22nd minute, taking a 1-0 lead going into halftime. They added a second in the 47th minute before adding a third in the 52nd minute. O'Malley Quinlan prevented a larger deficit, making 12 saves during the match. The Maroon and Gold take the pitch again on Saturday, October 25th, at 2:30 P.M. when they travel to take on the Cedarville Yellow Jackets.
