NORTH CANTON, OH: The Cavs closed the Men's Soccer season by welcoming the Malone Pioneers to Larry Staudt Field in what would prove to be a night to forget. It was the Cavs who dominated the attack, out shooting the Pioneers 17 to 6, but keeping it level for shots on goal with 3 a piece. However, the Cavs struggled to find the net while the Pioneers capitalized on their chances. Two goals in the 46th and 76th minutes of the match were enough to give Malone a 2-0 lead and take all three points away from the Cavs. Gabe Anderson led the Cavs with 4 shots while several others each had 2 shots. The Maroon and Gold finished the season with a 3-10-5 overall record and a 2-7-5 conference record.
