VOLLEYBALL SPLITS WEEKEND IN MICHIGAN

HILLSDALE & MIDLAND, MI - The Walsh University volleyball team traveled north to Michigan to compete in two huge conference matchups against Hillsdale College and Northwood University. The Cavaliers fought hard against the Chargers of Hillsdale, but it was not enough to get the win after a close five-set match. On Saturday, the Maroon and Gold redeemed themselves by beating Northwood University in 4 sets.  

LOCATION: Dawn Tibbetts Potter Arena & Riepma Arena 

RECORD: Walsh 20-7 (12-2), Hillsdale College 12-10 (10-3), Northwood University 11-11 (6-7) 

SCORE: 
Hillsdale College 3 – Walsh University 2 (25-18, 23-25, 27-25, 21-25, 15-6) 

Walsh University 3 – Northwood University 1 (27-25, 18-25, 25-23, 25-20) 

 
GAME 1 FOR THE CAVS  
Kameron Stover dominated with 21 kills, 2 aces, and 17 digs. 

Brynn Egbert  stopped the opposing offense with an impressive 5 blocks. 
AJ Burick orchestrated the offense with 48 assists.   
Sabrina Da Silva defended the court with a very impressive 29 digs. 

 
GAME 2 FOR THE CAVS  
Kameron Stover was unstoppable with 26 kills and 4 blocks.. 

Maggie Rolwing  defended the net with an impressive 6 blocks and added 1 ace. 
AJ Burick and Morgan Hornaday set up the offense with 48 assists between the two of them.   
Sabrina Da Silva defended the court with a very impressive 28 digs. 

The Maroon and Gold will head to Columbus and Cedarville, OH for their last two conference games on Friday, November 14th and Saturday, November 15th both at 6:00pm.
