NORTH CANTON, OH: The Walsh Women's Basketball team earned another gutsy win on Thursday evening. The victory was the ladies fourth straight, keeping them undefeated in Great Midwest play. 

The conference match up was relatively even as both teams struggled from the floor and from behind the arc. The Cavs made five threes on the night to the Oilers 4. The main difference was intensity and grit, especially in the final twenty minutes. The Maroon and Gold held the visiting Black and Orange to just 16 total points in the second half. An outburst of 19 points along with the suffocating defensive effort earned the Cavs the seven point win. Walsh scored 27 points in the second half. 

The Women will take their 7-2 record to Pepper Pike, Ohio on Saturday for a 2pm tip off vs Ursuline College.

FOR THE CAVS

• Leading the way with a monster double double was Kiley Dyrlund. She totaled 18 points and 17 rebounds. She shot 89% from the floor. 
• Sydney Ludvigsen was also in double digits with 10 points. She also had 8 rebounds. 
• Carlota Lopez added 9 points.
